Bergamasco at AKC meet the breed in Vallejo Ca

The first California "meet the Bergamasco" took place on June 11, 2011 in Vallejo . It was a smashing success! We had 5 dogs ranging from 11 months (Sisko in the middle) to our grand dam (far right) owned by Mindy Shapiro. Roni Kump was in attendance with her recently adopted Bergamasco who was sporting a puppy cut.Having 5 dogs of varying ages was a great opportunity to show our wonderful breed at varying stages of development enabling the public to get a better understanding of our dogs. Everyone was on their best behavior and made a very favorable impression. Phaedra belonging to Nicole Kure took First place and Keniki McNeil took Best of opposite sex with youngster Sisko. It was a great day to get the gang out for their first debut and fun was had by all.
